MR2 Turbo

I've always liked these Toyota MR2s, but they are pretty rare and expensive for what you get. This is a nice one though. It has a JDM turbo motor and transmission swap. It looks like it was put together pretty well too.

It is currently bid up to thirty-five hundred dollars, and still has a few days left, so I'm sure it will get higher than that. I just can't see spending the money on a 15+ year old car. I like older cars, but I like them because I can get them cheap. These are collectible and reliable cars, so it really isn't a bad investment.

Classic Supra

This is possibly the most legendary import of all time. It really astonishes me how much these cars are still worth. They are pretty much always going for over twenty grand, and they are around ten years old. They have the legendary twin turbo 2jz engines, and are a symbol of the import scene and probably always will be.

I don't care how much they symbolize, I wouldn't pay that kind of money for one. I know they are nice, but they going for absolutely ridiculous prices. If I was rich I'd probably get one like the Hogans do, but that would be the only way. This one is going to go for over twenty grand just like all the others.

Looking for a good deal on insurance?

If you have just bought yourself one of these nice cars on eBay, or any vehicle in general, you have to get yourself some insurance for it. There are many different places you can look for vehicle insurance, and you need to check around to find the best deals because there is a lot of variation between different companies' rates.

Whether or not you are looking for just liability, commercial insurance, or maybe even student policies, AdvantageAuto Quotes offers all of these options, and, even if you have a bad record, have them quote you a rate, and you may be surprised at the price of their online insurance policy.

Monster DSM

This car is a beast with 476 all wheel horsepower. With that much power, it can run 10s or 11s easily in the quarter mile, and it is also a street car. The car looks pretty stock on the outside with no body kit or anything like that. It just has some rims and hood pins. That is how I personally like them to look. I've never been a fan of body kits.

This car is currently going for a little over five grand, but the reserve has not been yet, so it may or may not be finding a new home. I've never understood why people build these cars up so much then just sell them for a beating. They are constantly on ebay, and they lose a lot of money. I guess it is good for the people looking for a good deal on a modified car though.

Nice 240sx RB swapped

This one looks like a real money pit. That's for sure. It is a very nice car, though, and looks like everything was professionally done like the seller said. It has the potent RB25DET engine, and it also has a huge list of other aftermarket parts like five lug conversion, brake upgrade, really nice racing seats, and tons of little Greddy parts.

This car seems to me like a pretty good deal at the starting bid of eight thousand. It's a pretty old 240 being a ninety one, so that may play some role in that price. It really looks like a sleeper from the outside since it just looks like a plain old 240sx, but under the hood it really shines. Most people just throw in a sr20det and modify that engine. You don't see them swapped with the RB series a whole lot. I don't think it's too bad of a deal if you want all the work already done for you for a decent price. There isn't any performance numbers listed, but I would like to see what kind of numbers this thing puts out.

k20 civic

Modified civics are obviously very common, but the k swapped ones are still pretty rare. These swaps are very costly, and they require some pretty decent knowledge to perform them correctly, but the end result is well worth the effort.

Most people would rather just buy a fast cars than drop thousands and thousands of dollars into a K swap, and I probably would too at their current cost to complete. When they are finished though, they are a true beast of a car. In a light chassis, they really make it move.

This one is at 7,600 at the moment, and it should be a pretty good deal for the buyer that gets it. That is expensive for an old, worn civic, but I'm sure the seller is still going to lose some money on this one. The reserve still isn't met at 7,600, but I think that is a pretty decent offer myself.

Skyline anyone?

This is a nice car here that you will very rarely see in the US. It is a right hand drive Nissan Skyline, and it's actually not modified either. It is equipped with the powerhouse RB25DET turbocharged 2.5 liter engine.

This car was a shop show-car, so you know it is in great shape. It probably hasn't been beaten to death either like many of cars similar to this would be. This is a great chance to own a JDM legendary car, but it comes at a high price, that's for sure. The starting bid is thirty grand, so someone will really have to want it bad.

There is supposed to be a new Skyline coming out in the US, and it will be a beast, but the price is supposed to be upwards of eighty grand I think. I could be wrong though. This is a cheaper option to the new one if the Skyline is what you are after.

Saleen Mustang- Twin Turbo

Here is a real beast of a car. Classic American muscle coupled with a couple turbochargers generally makes insane power, and this is no exception. This is a genuine saleen mustang, and makes over 800 horsepower on race gas. Even with pump gas it makes over 600, so that is plenty enough for street use. You will just find your rear tires constantly spinning with that much anyways.

The buy it now is set to thirty-two grand, which will most likely not be used, and the starting bid is twenty grand with a reserve. I would be surprised if this car even got a bid at all. It would have to find the right buyer, and that isn't too hard with eBay, but there are so many cars on there all the time where people are taking a beating. It's obviously a very nice care, but that a lot of money for a highly modified car that doesn't appeal to a whole lot of people.

1989 Trans am with a big price tag

How many times have you seen a 1989 Trans Am on eBay with a bid of thirty four grand and the reserve still not met? Not a whole lot, that's for sure. What's even more uncommon is a 1989 Trans Am with only 431 original miles on the odometer.

This is the also the rare turbocharged model where only 1555 were produced, and this is most likely the best one in existence. The interior and exterior look flawless, and so does the engine bay. This is the kind of care that makes people afraid to drive it because of the rarity and pristine condition.

I have never been a big fan of show cars that you can't drive without fear. I like cars for enjoyment, not the rarity factor. This car was very enjoyable in its day though, and ran quarter miles in the thirteens which is still excellent even for today.

gs300 with 2jz

Lexus gs300s are pretty nice cars, but when you add a 2jz supra engine to the mix, it goes to a whole new level. The 2jz is one of the best engines ever made, and puts out some serious power even when stock. This car is more on looks that performance it seems, and it is automatic with is sad for a 2jz, but it is still nice nonetheless.

I'm sure this car was a serious moneypit by the looks of it. Custom paint, rims, interior, wiring, driveshaft, and engine converted to single turbo. The owner better be prepared to take a beating if they prepare to sell it. The reserve is set to 24,500, but I would be surprised if it came anywhere near that. The car is done right it appears, but modified cars generally don't bring that kind of money.

1997 Talon

What's better than 480 horsepower to all four wheels? Especially for a relatively small price. This 1997 talon has a huge list of upgrades including a t3/t4 ball bearing turbo that spools up to 22 psi nice and fast to create huge horsepower.

The price is started at 10 grand, which isn't all too bad I don't think. It probably won't get a bid at that price, but it's easy to see that a fortune was put into it. It's definitely a nice car, and it looks like it was put together right, and most of them are usually hackjobs, so that it a big plus.

69 Camaro...Twin turbo

This isn't something you see everyday, a twin turbo 1969 Chevy Camaro. I've always liked these cars, but I can't say I've ever seen one quite like this. I've seen them with LS1 swaps and whatnot, but not with twin turbos.

This also has been converted to fuel injection, which I am a fan of. I've never been a carburetor fan myself. It's automatic, so that is a downside in my opinion, but it's still a neat car nonetheless. It has a very low price now, but it will go up significantly since there is plenty of time left. Nobody is going to be expecting to see that under the hood, and it would have a good shock value, and some nice get up and go too.

Turbo Foxbody

I always like the foxbodies the best out of all the mustangs, probably because they were the best value for the money and the most reliable. This thing has 520 horses at just 8 psi on twin turbo boost.

The price is a bit scary for this one, though. The starting bid is fifteen grand, but I would be very surprised of it gets a bid. I know the guy put a lot of money in it, but you got to be prepared to take a beating on a car like this. It's nice, but I don't think it's worth that kind of money.

2007 M5

I'm not a big fan of ridiculously expensive cars like this, but I like these new M5s. I would never buy one because the price tag is straight up murder, but they are quite nice. This one is automatic, so that pretty much ruins it, but it packs over five hundred horses under the hood to make up for that.

The car has a five liter v10 that redlines at a 8200, which would be rather fun on the streets, but the asking price of $77,700 would scare many viewers away. The blacked out look fits it well in my opinion. It does look nice, and if it had three pedals and a six speed in there would be very appealing.

LS1 FD

The FD generation RX7 is fairly rare, and quite expensive for its age, so they are a highly sought after car. When combined with an LS1, they are highly potent and can't be matched by most other cars. I wanted one of these for a while, but I would think all that torque would just shred those rear tires from a stop. Therefore, I'm a big fan of AWD, but this is an amazing car, and it appears the swap was done with great care. You really can't go wrong with four hundred horsepower in a relatively lightweight car. I'm sure this car is a blast to drive.

Scooby Impreza

I like when people do the wolf in sheep's clothing on cars. It helps out nicely on the insurance rates. This is supposed to be an impreza l model, but it has been transformed into a turbo wrx Frankenstein. It's obviously not the fastest car out there, but I appreciate custom built cars. I like the color too, a nice metallic blue. I'd roll in it for sure.
